Kit de Supervivencia para CTOs y Engineering Managers, Slides SalmorejoTech 2022

What a nice weekend in Córdoba! I was presenting at the Salmorejo Tech 2022 and managed to bring all the family (wife, and two children) with me to enjoy such a beautiful city.

The event is organized by the Aula de Software Libre, a student organization inside the University that works for acquiring extra skills before finishing the University. So all students, young, full of energy, passion, who love technology, software, development, etc. what a nice combination!

They told me they were honored to have me, but the reality is the opposite. I’m honored to visit them and recharge my passion and motivation for what I do.

This was the first time my daughter Valentina was seeing her father on the stage. So I was extra nervous. However, the most important thing for me was for her to watch other brave women talk, present, and share. We need more referents to encourage new generations.

Valentina took some notes of my presentation, but I will like to point out one. “Are we, as a team, better than the previous week?”

My presentation was an introduction to new CTOs and Engineering Managers: 7 things to put in your AID pack. Here are the slides, and as soon as I have the video, I’ll link it too.

Thanks again to the organization and the opportunity to meet them all. As I told them, count on me for whatever you need.
